ABOUT

After recently graduating from Chelsea College of Arts with a BA in Textile Design, I am keen to document my journey as an emerging creative.

Throughout my degree, after gaining considerable knowledge and hands-on experience within the different routes of Textile Design, from print through to weave. I dedicated my practice to Knit design, where I would spend the next two years trying to make friends with my Dubied knitting machine, pushing the boundaries of knit design as we traditionally know it, and the potential of my skills.

I admire the process of being able to envision and create something from the ground up, being able to mold the exact characteristics it embodies, and within my practice and knit Design, I can do exactly this. Through yarn selection, techniques, tensions, accidental or intentional carriage experimentation, and yarn dying processes, you are able to create something entirely unique. I aim to keep exploring knit design through a fresh contemporary perspective, whilst utilisng my creative lens for compelling content and styling in everything that I do.
